Dr. John Adam Petty
Dr. J. Adam Petty grew up in Fayetteville, NC and graduated from Methodist College with a bachelor’s in Chemistry in 2005. He received his doctorate of chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College, and graduated in 2009 with honors. He started his career in Augusta, GA at Pidcock Chiropractic, in 2009 where he worked for almost four years. He is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. Dr. Petty is Nationally Board Certified, as well as Physiotherapy Board Certified. He is also certified to treat Olympic athletes from the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center, in Lake Placid, NY. Dr. Petty was also trained in Webster’s Technique to treat pregnant women and breech pregnancies.
Melissa grew up in Cameron, NC. She obtained her Certified Chiropractic Assistant Certification in 2018. In her free time, she loves to read and spend time with her three children.
Christina Dawkins is a native of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania but has resided with her husband and three dogs in the Foxfire area for the past four years. She is now working side by side with Melissa at Dr. Petty’s office as a certified Chiropractic Assistant. Christina is certified through the North Carolina State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Christina is also working on finalizing her certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant through the Sandhills Community College program. Christina has years of experience in financial offices which helped her gain skills and knowledge that she uses today in her current profession. She has most recently worked for an optometry office in Aberdeen for over a year. Being in a medical environment gave her the desire to complete these certifications so she can continue her career in the medical field going forward.
For fun, Christina likes music, learning, reading, True Crime podcasts, hanging out with her dogs, enjoying local restaurants with her husband, and spending time with her friends and family as much as possible.
